QAnon Conspiracy Theories Threaten Survivors and Jeopardize Progress against Human Trafficking

An open letter warning that QAnon conspiracy theories threaten to undermine efforts to combat trafficking in the United States and around the world has now been signed by more than 100 organizations dedicated to combating human trafficking. The letter underscores that spreading lies and politicizing the traditionally nonpartisan movement will hamper the ability of governments, activists, advocates, and service providers to confront this crime and support survivors.
